We aim to pressure the leadership of Cascade Investment and the independent boards of Blackrock and Blackstone to stop Signature Aviation from assisting ICE. The first step is a letter writing campaign which will be followed up by additional steps should they prove necessary. Please join us by writing letters to the executives and board members of Cascade, BlackRock and Blackstone.
We believe that physical letters (typed and signed) are more powerful and more likely to reach their intended recipient. Look below to see a list of individuals we are targeting as well as their addresses and a sample letter. Thank you for participating!

We have a sample letter which you may copy and use. However, we do recommend personalizing it as unique letters may have more impact.
Mr/Ms. ______,
Like many in our country, I have watched the recent actions of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement with great alarm. As a government agency, I believe that ICE’s primary goal should be strengthening our communities. However, ICE appears to be prioritizing acts of cruelty for the sake of political optics. Furthermore, its willingness to openly disregard individual rights to free speech and due process threatens to erode long-standing American values. Although I do not advocate the abolition or “defunding” of ICE, its recent activities have been truly abhorrent and are unacceptable.
I am writing to you in your capacity as __________. You are likely aware that ____________ has partial ownership of Signature Aviation. Working as a “forward base operator”, Signature has actively participated in providing fuel and other services to the charter aircraft used to transport ICE’s detainees. As recently documented by ProPublica, detainees on these flights are often shackled and have limited access to food and water.
I am writing to ask that you stop Signature Aviation from providing fuel to any aircraft involved in the transport of detainees for ICE. I understand that this will involve a loss of revenue for Blackrock and some public controversy. However, while controversy will fade, your leadership on this issue will be remembered. Thank you for your time and attention.
Sincerely,
_________
