Signature Aviation and I.C.E.

Signature Aviation provides aviation fuel and logistical support for I.C.E. detainee transport flights in a number of cities throughout the United States.  Although the company lacks a direct contractual relationship with I.C.E. itself, Signature works closely with its contracted charter airlines to facilitate these flights.  See some of the evidence below.

An email from the Signature Aviation manager at the company's San Antonio location to an airport employee.  Obtained via public records request.

I.C.E. Detainees unload from a GlobalX charter aircraft in Seattle, likely bound for the large Northwest Detention Center.  Notice the Signature Aviation logo on the airstairs. Signature services all of the I.C.E. flights at Boeing Field.

Signature Aviation personnel service and refuel an I.C.E. flight at Hanscom Field in Massachusetts

I.C.E. detainees board an I.C.E. chartered aircraft via airstairs bearing the Signature Aviation logo in Minneapolis.

An aviation fuel receipt for an I.C.E. detainee flight out of Honolulu, obtained via Freedom of Information Act request.

This is a 2019 I.C.E. flight schedule for an I.C.E. contracted aircraft out of Alexandria, LA - obtained via Freedom of Information Act Request.  At the bottom of the page are the fixed base operators which fuel and service I.C.E. flights at each listed airport.  Signature Aviation (also known as Signature Flight Support) is listed more frequently than any other company.  Furthermore, Signature now fuels I.C.E. flights at BFI in place of Clay Lacy Aviation.  Finally, I.C.E. now operates most flights from New England out of BED in place of PSM and Signature fuels these flights as well.

It is possible that Signature now fuels I.C.E. contracted aircraft at several more of these listed airports.  Prior Aviation has gone out of business and Signature is currently the only FBO at Buffalo-Niagara airport.  Finally, Tac Air - listed as supplying I.C.E. flights in OMA and SLC - was acquired by Signature in 2022.
